CLIPPING
CLIPPING is an ongoing series of screening/performance/lecture events, which offers a platform to explore the universe of image and sound with members of the public, in various public and private spaces. Clipping consists of contributions from invited guests, compiled by artist Géraldine Honauer. Clipping experiments with the ways in which a screening can become specific to its context and to its audience. Guests such as artists, scientists, and anyone else who seems interesting to connect with, are asked to share found footage, images, video, or sound pieces. Between each contribution there is a time slot for each guest, which can be used as a break, an introduction, performance, lecture, or any form of comment for their chosen clip. After the screening performance everyone is invited to extend the contributions by having a talk and sharing a drink.
